I think the best thing to do is simply not play or vote on the items that you view as AI slop. I also noticed that there's a lot of AI slop like you did. I think it shows a lack of passion to just spend 30 minutes prompting an AI to get something and then submitting that.

Yeah. I always figured the point of a game jam is to give and get advice from other devs. What on earth do we even tell someone who just pushed a button to make their game? Push harder?

well we could do something about it if enough people agree. The challenge is deciding what is slop and what is not. And there can be false accusations (false positives). For example the game I worked on someone thought the logo was made by AI but it wasn't. And if the game is bad and sloppy it won't do very well seemingly. Based on my experience AI isn't really good at making full games on it's own (except in rare cases maybe, not sure) ?
