It's not a perfect system yes. Unfortunately due to time constraints it may not be possible for the judges to try all the games. In general, games that are web based have a higher chance of getting votes since many users tend to avoid downloads due to viruses. For more information on how to get your game played, check out our discord and also share it with us there!
well we could do something about it if enough people agree. The challenge is deciding what is slop and what is not. And there can be false accusations (false positives). For example the game I worked on someone thought the logo was made by AI but it wasn't. And if the game is bad and sloppy it won't do very well seemingly. Based on my experience AI isn't really good at making full games on it's own (except in rare cases maybe, not sure) ?
Thanks for playing. we had no AI generated art in this game but we did use a lot of assets on craftpix . Cover art as well as island design (and boats) was done by MrSpirit. https://mr-spirit.itch.io/. Information in description of game :D
Hello! So, at the end of the game jam, the community will play and rate the games based on the rating criteria we have. Once the community voting is finished, the results will appear, and the judges will play the Top 15 games and choose the 5 winners during a livestream on our twitch and an announcement on our Discord server! <3
