Hi, I just started playing, but have run into some strange bugs:
1) The characters in the prologue all started with no equipment. I didn't realize this wasn't intended until I had to restart it, and then everyone was equipped.
2) Going to the save/load menu during the prologue seems to lock up the game.
3) When I first tried to give a fish to the crab, I already had 12 of every type of fish. Now I have 14.
All good! I have played for a few hours and am really enjoying it so far, although the gamepad controls take a lot of getting used to. I did find a couple more issues:
1) Falling into the fire just inside the Unearthed Pit (right next to the exit to town) crashes the game with Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000000000000000
2) I was playing with keyboard controls before, but I can't get them to work now, after playing with the gamepad for a while. My gamepad is not connected and not recognized on the main menu, but after loading my game, the mouse cursor is gone and only gamepad prompts display. Am I missing something?

3) Sorry, one more thing. The learn skills menu doesn't seem to respond to gamepad controls (I can't select any skills). The gamepad cursor also skips over the gamepad binding screen in the options menu.
Now that I have a minute I'll respond to each thing:
In your first post- 1) I've never seen that happen before, and I can't seem to replicate it. Same as 2) I can't seem to replicate that on my end. I wonder if that's because I have preexisting saves? It should allow loading but not saving in the prologue. I'll see if I can find any possibilities for that issue. 3) I fixed, but I believe I have yet to upload that build.
Second post-
About #2- There should be an option in the options menu to disable gamepad mode. It's odd that you can't see the cursor, but if you're able to see the buttons highlight maybe you can find your way to it? I'll see if I can fix the issue with the cursor not being visible on my end.
Regarding #1 I think I found that problem, it's an issue with achievements on non-steam platforms. That should be an easy fix, stay tuned.
For #3, I see now you mean the learn abilities menu (sorry for the confusing wording!) That is also not working on my end, so I'll fix that with the rest of these fixes.
Thanks for checking. Yes, I had no save files in the prologue. After going into the menu, I couldn't get back out of it (although I might have been misunderstanding the menu controls).
There is one more issue with the gamepad that I forgot to mention, which is that when selecting an item to equip, the highlighted item doesn't display its stats. Only the currently equipped item displays stats.
Hi, I've uploaded a patch that should fix all of the issues which I am able to recreate. I still don't quite know how the prologue party got to be without equipment, and I can't recreate the issue with the saves locking (it works fine for me with no existing save files) but everything else I've addressed.
For the gamepad- if you want to switch back to mouse controls now all you need to do is click the mouse at any point during gameplay (while gamepad controls are still enabled) and it will prompt you to switch back to mouse if you want. The cursor is designed to be hidden for people playing on gamepad platforms (like Steam Deck) so having it visible even with gamepad controls by default can be a bit distracting and problematic. But this workaround should help.
