I'm a relatively new game dev that's dabbled in a few things here and there, looking to make my first game jam game ( hobbyist programmer, haven't done much game dev before... )

I'm looking to make my first game jam game, or make any small project in general to learn the ins and outs of the gamedev cycle. I'd appreciate any help I can get, though primarily for art and sound (themes and sfx both). Feel free to reach out at @zamothy on Discord!

I'm a pixel artist and I'm kind of looking for a 3rd freelance client, but since it may take a while, I am also trying to just get a small game in my portfolio too. I have worked on a shmup jam a long time ago. (Game here: https://romeosierra13.itch.io/rip). Working on a shmup game is easy because the animations for space ships and projectiles aren't all that complicated, but we can try something else too. I like JRPGs and Metroidvanias, it's just harder animate because now we're dealing with humans and monsters with arms and legs and cool attacks and all that that need to be animated.
