I built a free tool for previewing Steam artwork across different store layouts

Hey everyone,

I built Steam Art Lab, a free browser-based tool for checking how your game artwork might look across several Steam-style layouts.

You can:

  • Drag and drop capsule artwork directly onto the corresponding asset tiles
  • Check whether each image has the correct dimensions
  • Preview the artwork across store, library, bundle, event and client-style screens
  • Compare two different visual concepts
  • Add your game title and descriptions for a more realistic preview

The artwork stays in your browser and isn’t uploaded or stored by the site.

You can try it here: https://steamartlab.com

I’d really appreciate feedback from developers and artists. Is the workflow clear? Are there other Steam layouts or artwork checks that would make the tool more useful?

This is an independent tool and isn’t affiliated with Valve. The previews are representative, so Steamworks remains the source of truth for current artwork requirements.
