A huge update is coming out next month. Be aware that it will wipe old saves (I promise it will be worth it).
I'll see if I can get auto-saves into that build, but either way it's definitely coming in a later version of the game. I'm also working on a hover feature so you can move around more easily, kind of like in Sandustry. Love the idea of input/output automatic box, basically like a buffer chest is how I read that. You're not the first person to suggest it. The game needs it.
