No Free Trial?

I can't find a way to use Bezi without buying a subscription. And I'm not spending $20 to try something out for a jam. There seems to be some "free credits" but i keep running into issues and obstacles. I haven't been able to get anything to function without it prompting me to buy a subscription. I'm using a brand new Bezi account too, so idk what could possibly be the issue.

That’s why the Bezi track is optional, and why the trial is limited to one per user rather than one per account.

No one is required to use Bezi to participate in the jam. Bezi is only required if you specifically want to enter the Bezi Challenge.

That’s intentional. I want the Mega Jam to be a game jam first, not a product activation requirement. People should be able to join, make something, and compete without using Bezi at all.

If you’ve already used your Bezi trial, creating a new account does not provide another trial. The free credits let you try Bezi once, not provide repeated free access through multiple accounts.

It’s also worth noting that the Bezi Challenge has no usage quota or minimum Bezi usage requirement. If you’ve never used Bezi before and only have access to the trial, using those trial credits as part of your project still counts toward the challenge.

More than 1,000 people signed up for the jam, so providing full free Bezi access to everyone would be a cost we can’t absorb. The optional Bezi Challenge gives people who want to use Bezi an additional track to compete in without making the product a requirement for everyone else.

If you don’t want to subscribe after using the trial, that’s completely fine. You can still participate in the rest of the jam without using Bezi.

I guess that all makes sense. I must’ve already used the trial a while ago and forgot about the account. Thanks for the thorough response! I appreciate the information, and the total cost definitely wouldn’t be worth it.
