I think you don't get what I'm trying to say, could that be? My question is: once the game reaches a certain stage, do supporters get a key if they help fund development, like other devs do on Patreon. And what does any of this have to do with being illegal? Absolutely nothing. The games aren't banned here; we just can't buy them directly on Steam because of age verification issues that Valve doesn't want to enforce. Using a VPN on Steam violates their ToS and can result in an account ban, which would mean losing all your games. That's why getting a Steam key through sites like itch.io or Patreon is the safest and best alternative—there's a reason so many other NSFW devs do it that way.

If you couldn't download on steam why not itch? If you still can't, why not download from other pirated websites? You got many options, but decided to put restrictions on yourself.

I myself changed the region from VPN to Kazakhstan and I calmly use Steam and pay with a card, so you can not be afraid of it, no one will ban you. Or alternatively, you can create a new account in the region you need
