Thanks for writing your thoughts. In the demo, the most interesting results will show up when you play out a 2nd life, after accomplishing key deeds in the 1st life. For example: choosing to spare/slay Mizgrub, or finding the Lost Temple.
Did you do those things and get far enough to see how they impact the 2nd life? If so, I'd like to hear what felt underwhelming, or what kinds of consequences you were hoping to see.
The full game's later regions will have more branching paths. The first region and early origins are designed to ease new players in.
Uh... I lost my browser save data (with no cause)
and also I got a glitch where all my grace points and upgrades where gone right after retiring. I got no idea what happened.
As for the details that change with the replays... I simply could not reach both of them (even if I really tried), dew to the life span constrain. I understand that the game is time loop themed but when there is a high chance of an incomplete loop, the game feels strait up repetitive like a chore.
Just like the game characters, my lifespan is finite as well. I can't waste hours to repeat the loop until I get it perfect. (Also I think the meta-progression boosts are weak in general, players deserve better rewards)
