DailyPill is a Windows desktop app that keeps your knowledge fresh with short daily quizzes and once-a-day “info fact” popups, powered entirely by a local AI (Ollama). Nothing leaves your machine.

Create topics on anything you want to learn, attach your own notes so the AI has real material to draw from, and let it generate quiz questions for you (multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, single-word, or open-answer/code). Set a weekly schedule per topic and a small reminder pops up automatically, or mark a topic “informational only” for a daily fact instead of a quiz.

It installs like a normal app, starts at login, and lives in the system tray so it stays out of your way until it’s time to learn something.
