Hi Oliver!! Thank you SOOO much for your patience! Here are the answers to your questions:
- There isn’t a polyamorous route atm. I did consider it but felt Benji would be wayyy too jealous & possessive of player to be in a meaningful poly relationship w/ anyone. I do have a very rough outline of a possible ending with all 3 but I don’t think it fits the definition of what people might consider a polyamorous dynamic.
- Act 3 will explore more suggestive themes, however they will be ambiguous, non-explicit, and fade to black to allow players to have their own interpretations.
- Ellis’s name is in honor of Emily Bronte’s pen name, Ellis Bell. Benji was a dog that solved problems in an old TV show, and I thought it’d be fitting hehe, but I wanted it to be more of a nickname, so Benjamin was chosen for his full name.
- Omg I would LOVE to have voiced characters but I don’t have the budget for that. I’ve seen people do fandubs of games they like, so I’m totally open if anyone wants to do that for their own content.
- It’s been a lot of trial & error. Learning how to code and feeling limited is the hardest part. A lot of times, what I originally envision can’t work due to my lack of skill, so it’s a lot of workarounds and problem solving. As for writing process, I write the whole story almost like a screenplay with transitions, sounds, images, etc, then add to the script, figure out code, do several test runs and edit as needed. Sometimes what you write & code feels different when you see it in game, and I like to edit as I go.
- YES! That's totally cool with me! I am a HUGE supporter of fan content. I don’t have any guidelines about this yet but obviously as long as the content is not intentionally trying to harm anyone. But I'm open to learning as we go and always happy to have convos about it!
I really enjoyed answering your questions, and THANK YOU for being so kind and considerate! I’m in the final testing stages of act 3 to work out any bugs....tho I’m sure some will still get through lol. And if you have any more questions you are always welcome to ask anytime!
