What if you mixed Lethal Company and Mystery Dungeon, turned the setting into a furry post-apocalyptic sci-fi-magi-tech world with backrooms vibes, and it focused on the inner-group conflict of a the action heroes who have to plunder for resources so the society can survive? That's where you get 'There's Nothing in the Stars'. A story about the mystery of the mist, the struggle to survive, and learning to coexist in the face of insurmountable oblivion. Following the POV of Mason, an experienced mist diver, as he's fighting a battle against the mist and a difficult squad captain. The has choices, and those choices are significant and will divert the story. There's a colorful cast of characters, the art, music, aesthetic and animation elements really help immerse you in the story. There's a lot cool lore building here, the world is great and feels lived in. It doesn't rush into any kind of love interest routes, but that's a good thing in helping build up the relationship. A great read and looking forward to the next content drop.
