Hehehe, thanks a lot! So glad to see someone caught the reference to Project Daedalus! And just the mention of David Bowie makes me happy. There's also a nod to Star Trek in the name of the planet itself (Kalos is an alternative name for Talos).
Regarding the clay model, it was really an out of the blue impulse which moved me to build something physical (I genuinely felt like Richard Dreyfuss in Close Encounters of the Third Kind, lol). And I HAD to make it turn!!! From the Discord, I know of your work as a luthier. Making specific instruments for an imagined species of another world sounds like a terrific idea!
