I really enjoyed the game! You can feel the soul of Game Boy titles right from the very first seconds. Although the interpretation of the theme is quite simple, the gameplay is very engaging; I even struggled a bit with the final boss—his attacks were incredibly unpredictable. Also, I’m not sure why, but during the QTE sequence (where the character is drinking), the game didn't seem to register my 'Z' key press when using the Z/X layout.
The visual style was a real highlight, too—especially the effect where everything on the screen goes wavy.
All in all, the game deserves high marks.
