Graphics and music feel properly gameboy, and I liked how each room throws in a new mechanic

I think the graphics and music were great and very gameboy. I liked the puzzle aspect of trying to get the coins sometimes, and it was fun how each room added new mechanics like the bouncers or the switches. Fun game!

What a coincidence we have the same game title hahaha thank you very much!

yeah I thought it would be fun to go through all the games with the same “Gold Rush” title and see how they are similar/different from each other, and they were all fun and unique games!

Gameplay is simple and straightforward! I personally love WASD games but after playing other submissions using arrow keys, it can get a bit jarring. Not really a dealbreaker though! Great job on finishing :)

Congrats on finishing your entry! It's a fun little game with some interesting  mechanics. If the collision detection and controls were a bit more polished this would have scored much higher. The keyboard layout is a bit weird for me, WASD + E + SPACE.

The text in the intro is a little hard to read, for the rest it was clear what to fun to play! Perhaps next time you could add a readme document with some details?

Cheers!
