How does your game meet GBJam's theme
You dig for gold. Some of the gold is really old. Like it's in a pyramid old.

Very ambitious title for the jam! This game has my favourite pixel work among the submissions. Absolutely stellar balance between clean and textured.
I liked the gameplay concept, but kept getting myself softlocked due to not buying the right thing to break walls or coins getting stuck in inaccessible areas. Maybe there was a way to generate coin that I overlooked?
beautiful pixel art
Really ambitious game for a game jam, I found it a bit difficult to traverse through the sand by digging but very impressive level of detail!
Absolutely incredible level of polish, it's amazing what your team accomplished in the duration of the jam. I really liked the art and music especially.
Thank you so much!
Love the style! The coins could use some "magnetism" though, great game!
Thank you!
Nice pixel art!
Thanks!
Pretty game! Cool pixel art.
I find the gameplay a little confusing but even then I enjoyed playing it!
Congrats!!
There's definitely a lot going on - when we finish our post-jam build, we'll definitely try to ease the player into it a bit more clearly. Thanks for checking it out!
Insanely talented! The art, animation, music, and colors are beautiful! Impressive amount of work done on this!
It took some time for me to get used to the controls (I kept pressing the spacebar to jump), but it was fun! I think the only real issues for me were the lag, as some people have mentioned, and not being able to fit in or reach a few places. I kept getting stuck but would love to see the end of the game. Overall, this was great!
Fixing the lag is definitely the first thing on our list for finishing our post-jam build :) Thank you!
The graphics are great and the tool variety makes the digging feel lively. The lag and collision issues are rough, but the ambition behind the shovel‑explorable pyramid really shows. (pls play my game)
Thanks for playing!
Great graphics and interesting gameplay but it was very laggy on my computer, and I had a lot of problems with collision detection. This was a very challenging genre to take on and for what it is you all did a good job for 10 days but I think there are other genres you could excel in much better with the skillset you have available.
Admittedly, we like to bite off a little more than we can chew when we participate in GBJAM. It's tradition 😅
Very ambitious to have a shovel-explorable environment made in such a short time! Graphics are really cool and the music is great!
Thank you!
The pixel art and the music is insaneeee!
Thanks you :D
Nice game. The amount of tools to use made it very interesting though the game starts lagging at one point. The art style is very nice.
Yeah, we think the lag is caused by the "boss" enemies off screen spawning projectiles. It usually stabilizes after a bit, but it's something we're looking to fix in our post-jam build!
A really really good game, from the graphics to the soundtracks. The gameplay is really fun and interesting and I like the player's ability to interact with their surroundings with different tools.
Thanks, glad you dug it!
