Haha, while I was playing I was thinking "dang, this music sounds like it was made in beepbox", and sure enough it was lol (Not to say it was bad, beepbox just has a very recognisable set of instruments) I think the game as a whole is perfectly serviceable given the time limit (and as you've mentioned, life duties) Well done :)
Haha yeah to be honest it was my first time using it, so I didnt explored all the features it has, in the end it turned out kinda generic indeed, but the process to make was fun. Thanks for words!
Surprisingly very fun game! Who knew playing a bird could be this fun xD. Very out of the box thinking of the premise and I love the concept of just a random pigeon protecting a party. The mix of getting the immortality tomato, shielding fireball and using the dash creates this like arcade feel to the game. Though I do find the game needs a bit more juice with more sound effects or VFX when blocking a fireball, etc. I also feel like there needs to be a clear visual indicator of when the bird is immortal or not and when the bird is able to dash or not since I kinda just guessed on it, but hey it worked out. Music was fun and there is a bit of sound effects, but more impact on some of the actions could've made it much better! Overall, this was a fun game and short and sweet for a game made in 2 days! Great work!!
Thanks for the words! Appreciate you liked the game and the music (Im really proud of this one). Im aware the game needs a bit more work, unfortunately due to some life duties I couldnt finish (or find) all of them. By I plan to go back to development of this game after the Jam ends to polish it a bit
That's completely fair! Life duties must be prioritized! Goodluck on polishing it further!!
Hi everyone, this was my first game jam, the game didnt turned out as I expected due to lack of time, but it was fun making it
