Hi! So it turns out that yes - I was able to put together a version just now that does the same thing for NVL menus. Like the original, you'll have to replace the nvl screen with the new code. In the script it works the same way too, just pass kwargs in parentheses after the NVL choice option.
I just put the file up for download. If you end up testing out this version let me know if you run into any issues! I don't have as much experience with NVL mode so I could be overlooking something.
