Very loosely, old gold = the resources that are being mined off the forest.

wow, basically a perfect gbjam entry - except for the secondary theme I guess.
Truly felt like an old gameboy classic. The art, level design, and music were all top notch.
The level design, puzzles, and actual gameplay are so clean!! The music is rad and the level select screen adds a really nice sense of polish.
The level design is really good, and it looks super polished. Those level transitions are slick
Damn, the level design is amazing! Tho the game became really frustrating for me later on when levels got bigger. Some checkpoints would be nice. I dont know what happens when you loose all lives.

A very polished platform game, love the sfx, music and visually it is pretty nice with all sorts of level transition. Old gold is indeed very loosely. I couldn't get pass level Amber City 1-4, what to do with 3rd fire hydrant? Can't jump that high :(
Oh, you can actually make it to the other side by jumping from the 2nd hydrant, no need to whack the third one unless you want to reach the star. Thanks for your kind words and review!
