Sorry to hear that it didn't work with your setup, I did not test on track pad. You don't need middle mouse to play the game though, just dragging the cursor is how you swing. Apologies if I didn't include enough instructions.
it's all good man, just a heads up though, readability and understanding how to play the game are super important especially in jams since there's usually not time to make an interactive tutorial
