How does your game meet GBJam's theme
The player can buy stuff with selling their gold nuggets?.The longer the gold nuggets are in the inventory the more they are worth. Thus old means gold more!

I've got the nuggets! 

You nailed the core mechanics. Very fun game.

Of course there's the bug that kinda makes the game turns into a roguelike... haha, but this is a small issue. I really liked this entry.

First of all, the art on this game is gorgeous. Love the buttery yellow and orange palette!

Secondly, the gameplay is really fun and the "old means more gold" mechanic is a clever take on the theme. 5 stars on secondary theme for sure.

Finally, the worst thing about this game is that there are not enough levels! NEED MOAR NUGGETS! I was saving one to hopefully reach 1024 ha!

Anyways, great game and one of my favorite entries in the jam. Keep it up!

Loved this so much! It was extremely fun, I played it twice lol. I didn't realize at first that the gold was increasing from sitting in your backpack, but I loved that mechanic. Great art, great music, great gameplay. Amazing job! :3

Really digging the gameplay!

I was not expecting the dragon encounter - it totally caught me off guard - I got crushed! XD

Definitely coming back and trying to get deeper!

Is it possible to stack nuggets on top of each other? (I think I was adding 2 nuggets and they were showing as shadows? Maybe I just wasn't placing them down. :P)

Great work on the game! :D

Yea the dragon is the final boss.

there's a glitch that if you restart you still get the previous money xD.

Also it's not possible to place multiple nuggets on eachother the shadow is sometimes bit buggy.

I don't normally like turn-based battle games, but this one was really really good! I liked the backpack system and the take you guys had on the theme, with gold nuggets in your inventory becoming more valuable.

As someone who is the fan of dungeon crawler and backpack based auto battlers it feels like this game was aimed at me with a sniper scope. Altough the game falls onto the easier side, I think that is the better mistake to do than making it too hard.

The game has a unique style which is easily distinguishable from anything else if you have seen it shared around and all the art has a great cohesion.

SFX and mx are neat, music didn’t really bother me and the effects were neat.

Cool idea, executed basically flawless. Awesome job!
