I went to the island I supposedly needed to go to, and pressing z did not put me on land. I had previously attempted going to the wrong island.

Honestly, I have no idea how to play this game. There's a neat puzzle game here, but I haven't the slightest clue what a solution to one of the puzzles even looks like. Feedback feels very vague. (

I like classic SHMUP gameplay. But also, lots of SHMUPS add something to spice things up, like boosts and upgrades and other things. Even though you can never "beat" most SHMUPs, there is still a sense of progression. There is not much of that here. You're playing the same game in the first minute and the fifth.

The art for this game is awesome. The gameplay is interesting, something about the controls feels off, where I feel like I'm not hitting the keys I'm supposed to be even though I am? Maybe it's just me getting confused, because the button mashing can cause some cognitive dissonance.

I like the graphics. This has a really old school vibe that I now want to try out for myself. It feels like some old adventure game. The game play was tricky and I suspect there's bugs in the interface.

This is a really neat idea, the shader is great and I like finding a 3D game in a GameBoy jam. I did not play much, because I got too frustrated trying to control the character, and in addition to the character being difficult to control, I could not find the packages or did not know where to find them. But there's a neat idea here.

I am glad I stuck with this one. The upgrades are awesome and it's fun to have this extremely powerful work that is kinda difficult to control but also is just... fun. Eventually I oversaturate the economy of the game with 1000+ ants. And the characters are actually really fun. I like your worms.

Nicely implemented, has good game boy vibes.

This game feels rather complex for me, but it also feels very well developed.

This game seems very difficult, but I really like the theme and idea of it. The idea of killing dinosaurs in the past for something now is just funny.

Seems like a difficult game.

For some reason, mining is incredibly satisfying, just hitting the walls feels good.

Cute puzzle game, could include a couple more challenging puzzles. Has great gameboy vibes.

This is a really neat idea and a very creative puzzler. I like your shader, but also, things feel really fuzzy in a way that makes it feel hard to reason about the game. Also, I found it a bit too hard. May need to better scale the difficulty curve.

I was not really able to get the game to work and sound effects don't work on my computer.

I really like your main character. Some parts of the game, like swimming to hit the second-to-last switch, feel really unforgiving. I also wish the music switched more seamlessly between track versions, because I think it's a cute song and it keeps starting over. But it's a cute game.

Wow... digging up bodies... It's so funny and gross. Very well executed.

Oh wow this is silly. Love it.

It was really something to get a gold piece and then see "4 years later..."

This game is adorable.

Having made this kind of game myself for this jam (and am quite sad to see a game so similar to what I made), I am greatly impressed. Your presentation and mechanics are better, and you included things I did not have time (or patience) to include. Well done.

This could have been a GameBoy game. You nailed that feel. And there are genuinely interesting puzzles and mechanics. But I did not play long, because while Mario is pleasing to jump with and use (because Shigeru Miyamoto invested an enormous amount of time making sure that jumping and moving with Mario was fun), your character's jumps feel... wrong, and difficult, in a way that's hard to describe. It feels like I'm always jumping and hitting my head on the ceiling. So you may need to spend time adjusting how your character moves.

The pinball machine is nice, as is the art and music. But I find the controls more confusing than the other pinball games.

It's a puzzle game, I can see why someone might like this kind of game. I find it quite difficult and also quite frustrating. It seems to appeal to people who like frustrating games, kind of like Cuphead.

It's really pleasing to play and just inhale gold. That said... how do you lose? I played until I unlocked everything and it seemed like I was not going to lose even when I ate everything.

Cannot seem to get the cart moving past the edge of the screen, unfortunately. Maybe the patch fixed it.

I really like how you made a twist on the usual pinball formula. I just wish more came of it.

I think it's neat how the music fits the theme so well. It's very somber and tired.

I like your ship designs. There is a neat puzzle aspect to it. I like that there's another strategy game.

This feels like the most "full" game I have played in this jam. Solid level design, easy to learn, pleasing atmosphere, great art, great music, excellent.

Thank you! I watched your YouTube video and saw your rating and actually was surprised at how much you liked it! I was very flattered.

Regarding the back button: I decided very early on that I was not going to make a back button, because I knew I'd have to decide I'd either have combat mechanics or a back button, but not both, given that I have a day job and am a one-man show. But yes, it's on the list of things to add if this were to become a full game.

Couldn't find it, interesting idea! I was blown away with how you imitated the sound of the sea with GameBoy sounds.

I like the idea of fighting off bees as presumably the game designer's cat.

Interestingly addictive.

Of the games I played, this is one that felt very "Gameboy".

The art is just so fantastic. And I love the theme; mesoamerican civ is fantastic. And I like what you did with the shader; it seems against the spirit of the jam to me, but also, it looks really good, and that seemed like an effect I would use on my game if I were to continue with it.

I love the fact that there's a first-person game for gameboy like this. That's a really cool idea. Seems really hard to survive and fight, though.

I think my biggest problem with this game is that I sometimes get lost.

It's a neat arcade-style game.

Art is really pretty, and the mechanics are a good foundation.
