Really good game, and clever way to reuse assets while making enough changes to keep the game interesting. I managed to make it to the end on my second attempt by dumping all my money towards damage. Really strong, well-rounded entry overall. Great work!

... I have to admit, I probably only got to the end because of the secret magical cheat code.  (I used the Full Purse cheat, then got the gaff and just kept paying to upgrade it, so I was hitting the Drowned King with a +9 weapon) :D  But when I wasn't dying every five seconds, I was enjoying it.  And I *still* died, magical cheat code or not, so the cheats are not an automatic "I Win" button, which was also nice

This is really big for a gamejam game (the fact that this has coop is insane), nicely done! Good theme interpretation with the gold getting old after each shore, and the gold getting left behind after death makes it less punishing, too. It feels very much like a gameboy game you'd remember from childhood, thank you for making this!

Of the games I played, this is one that felt very "Gameboy".

This is really good! I love the aesthetics and you definitely fit a lot of mechanics in there like the damage pools that you don't normally see in GB games (I know it's Unity but still lol).

This was cool! I like how cryptic the game is but without stopping you from making progress and letting you figure things out on your own. The crabs felt a bit too aggressive but the the boss battles were cool and getting new weapons was fun too!

Good game. It felt a little unfair when i just enter location and got hit immediately from a crab. I like the idea with new gold/old gold! Nice!

Finally got around to playing this game and it was a lot of fun!

Has a lot of Zelda vibes and I loved a lot of the little touches to the game (Dithered Lantern effect for the character; Old Gold to New/ Young Gold for certain items; different palettes swaps for each level; rogue-like updates as you go along)

And being able to add some other modes on top of the adventure mode? The programmer was firing off on all cylinders!

Great work on this game! :D

Game was fun, loved that there's multiple game modes, also Controller support. It kinda gave old Legend of Zelda vibes. Great Job
