The game looked great and I was impressed with the sounds (though a little more variation when walking around would have been nice). I'm a bit frustrated with the puzzle, though I eventually got it. Some of the clues don't seem correct? Though maybe I'm misinterpreting them?

Tad bit short but I enjoyed the graphics, sound and trying to find the treasure 🙌

I did not know longitude latitude but i could at least figure out what Xes was in the lines of both a barrel and a rock until I got it right 🫡

The longitude/latitude thing is pretty unintuitive, which made finding the treasure feel more like a fluke. The art is really good though and the music creates a really nice atmosphere. I also love that you can cross to the little island and talk to a mermaid!

Lovely work on this entry! The music, sounds, and overall game play energy is giving gameboy experience! Props to the pixel artist. The sprites and design makes everything come together and feel extremely polished.

Couldn't find it, interesting idea! I was blown away with how you imitated the sound of the sea with GameBoy sounds.

It looks really good and gameboyish, loved the music and sfx too. I believe I fall the trap of lat/long too, even though I read the comments xD. Anyways, awesome entry, would've loved to have something else to do, like maybe find other treasures and/or get a new shovel by interacting, etc. Also I expected the days to go by for some reason after you dig (it starts showing the date), like you die by old age not by having 3 shovels xD.

Even  with the hints, it was hard to find. But I've managed to! Nice, funny, well made!

I thought this was an excellent entry, but the longitude latitude thing did make me take a considerable amount of time to solve. Thankfully, I found the comment on it and that saved me. Maybe something in the description about that until you can fix it, just so people know to beware! All in all, I found your entry to be very fun and stylish. Congrats!

Thanks a lot for your suggestion, I've gone ahead and added the info to the game page until we can fix it!

Great graphics and premise. Very gameboy feel. Don't beat yourselves up on the latitude and longitude mixup! I've been sailing for many years and also got mixed up playing this game even before I realized they were accidentally switched. It happens. Besides that, this is a super cool entry, I liked it a lot.

Great entry, definitely the best gameboy feeling and cool pixels I've seen so far !

Latitude and longitude really threw me for a loop 😵‍💫 but a cool little game nonetheless! I enjoyed wandering around and discovering little secrets like the mermaid popping up. Very GB!

Interesting game, but like already mentioned, Latitude and Longitude are mixed up which made it confusing to get the hints correctly.

This game definitely has some of the best GameBoy graphics I’ve seen! I really like the idea too, especially of drawing on a map outside of the game itself, kinda like the old days. I played this on stream today (recording here) and like other commenters I did get stuck due to the mix up between latitude and longitude. Whether due to the game or my own misunderstanding, I definitely started doubting my own understanding of which was which.

Regardless, I had a good time with it. Great job!

Phenominal game.

I thought I narrowed down the possibilities to one, but it wasn't it, so either I misinterpreted one of the clues or someone's a duplicitous sea rat and gave me a bad clue.

Art art is charming, the music good, though after beating my face against the wall long enough, the ocean wave sound did get a little grating. Though perhaps that was the point, to numb the player's brain with the pulse of the pounding sea...

O how many ways the crew found better uses for my shovel.....
