How does your game meet GBJam's theme
It is set in a world that was long ago covered in gold which the protagonist is trying to undo.

I LOVED THE LORE. It made me feel like I was playing a lost GB game. Kind of hard, kind of janky, but so much soul.

I went through the dungeons and finally beat the final boss & got the fireball upgrade

After finishing the candle puzzle, is that supposed to be the ending?

I got welcomed with “Go forth champion” just like the first time I entered the game, but with a white palette rather than the previously yellow

I'ts not the exactly the end, there is another direction to go where you couldn't before.
