This game is incredibly charming! Got to stage 15 with a score of 6.4k (after many tries).
It is so fun to dig fast (and die young...). The diagonal movement wasn't something I expected to be possible. In general the movement is really great.
The later stages seem to get a bit laggy; maybe it's on my end.
Sometimes it felt a bit unfair to get out of a tile and while a bat (always the bats...) is going to my previous tile and then dying from it. A mode with a faster clock would be really fun!
Overall, this is a great entry to the jam! I've spent more than a few minutes digging around.
