Nice game, but not quite quirky... Also you could try to make the game more gameboy-like by only including wasd and 2 other buttons, and also make the soundtrack purely chiptune.
Thanks for the feedback! I included z and x as 2 "other" buttons and arrow keys instead of w,a,s,d, I tought it was quirky with the way the character travells the scrren but everybody has its own opinion...
