This is a very, very cool looking and thematic game already! The way you presented story through the messages is very nice. Most concerns go towards the controls and the visual cues - turning the towers isnt obvious and the costs of those towers would be awesome to know.
Also: Your sandstorm looks soooo much better than mine xD
Keep up the good work! Its a project worth continuing on.
