Took me digging up a few graves to figure out how I was going to pay for my ticket to safety. The microgame for stealing the gold teeth is simple fun. A bit of randomness and having to navigate the row while there are living dead afoot!

I actually never used any of the other equipment. Just simple dodgin' and diggin' for me. Got 40 teeth and straight into that church. The trees were a bit of interesting challenge that almost got me caught a couple times. Having a sort of trap that could be placed and a way to destroy some undead seems cool, but I never found much incentive or need for them. Having gates that can be opened and closed could be a fun way to escape or reroute the undead. Some kind of hazard like a ghost that patrols a row of tiles horizontally back and forth. Something to slow you down or complicate your escape route a bit.

Had fun. Great work, keep at it!

Thanks for playing! You really drilled in on what was left on the cutting room floor. I had initially intended there to be multiple levels with gold carrying over from level to level and enemy behaviors getting more complex, but had to cut all that for time. You can absolutely play with just digging and dodging, and lowkey the shovel is a better defensive tool than the incense cause if you dig a hole that a skeleton falls into, you can bury the skeleton stunning them for way longer than the incense does.

I accidentally started digging holes on tiles that weren't in front of graves and just took that as whoops you missed dumby. I never realized you could dig a hole and lure a skeleton into it and then walk over them. That's a really fun defensive option and it's multiple uses for a single action, nice!
