The gameplay is good, the graphics and sound are great, and so is the music but it uses modern instruments, which is not gameboy-like. You did a good job anyway!

I love puzzle games and this was a really well done one. Great level design and beautiful graphics. Very well done!
Crab battle! Clever puzzles, hard to remember which way the crabs are gonna go.
Music is very relaxing. Definitely got a bit of a Baba Is You feeling from it.
Chill and polished, would happily play more levels.
The puzzles were well-thought out and required a bit of optimization on the player's part to complete them within the allotted number of moves.
The graphics are stylized in a way that 8x8 works well for.
The music, although not GameBoy-like, gives the game a more relaxing vibe that I expected. Kinda reminds me of *Baba Is You*, which is a game I absolutely adored. GB sound chip sounds are not required for the jam, so that's not a problem regardless.
My biggest gripe is the crabs seemed to have different movement rules on different levels. Maybe with some more time a different enemy sprite could have been done to disambiguate the behaviors.
The game is built on a fascinating interpretation of the theme which leads to a fun core gameplay mechanic. I personally would not have enforced a move limit but don't think this seriously detracts from the experience. The concept can benefit from more levels and better care taken with the music, but levels available to play do a great job of forcing the player to think about their actions ahead of time.
So fun! Such creative puzzles that were just hard enough to be interesting, good job!
Wow, that was a really charming and polished puzzle game!
- I love how the rogue-esque "turn-based" movement was implemented as a puzzle mechanic. Really makes me take a few seconds before taking each step, and completing the level felt very satisfying.
- The music is top-notch and really fits the vibe. I've always wanted to do incremental BGM on one of my games too.
- The sound effects are also really tasty.
- I need more levels!
Top marks on this one. Keep it up!
