Oh my gosh, i had a HUGE grin on my face while playing this game!
I'm a big fan of horror and angst and melodrama, so I was eating this game UP. It was a lot of fun just trying to figure out what was going on, and piecing together the details. And whenever another scary thing would happen I would kick my feet and jump for joy - just a lot of fun angst, and a good central mystery!
If I can nitpick, it's a bit silly that if you choose the option to kill the guy in the straitjacket, the protagonist will still get upset later when he discovers videos of himself killing other people. He's shocked at the thought of him killing someone when he's already done it that day! That might just be an issue with the translation though - I truly think I should learn Russian so I can get the intended Mr. Nasty experience.
I will say; i DID buy the Mr Nasty fan pack (HUGE fan), and i don't think it's a super big deal, but you might get in trouble for distributing the soundtrack behind a paywall since it comes from other sources. If a copyright holder found out they might get mad - If you changed it from MP3s to a youtube playlist link that would probably be a bit safer :P
Sorry that Itch.io is flagging your game as a virus - I've seen a lot of false flags like that before. If anyone else sees this review, they can rest assured knowing that Mr Nasty is not only a REAL game, but also a work of art!
I had a lot of fun with this one. I'm excited to see what you make in the future, and I'm proud of you for getting this one out there. It is NOT easy making a game and you DID it. Great stuff!
