How does your game meet GBJam's theme
Fossil Finder is about uncovering ancient dinosaur fossils and helping your grandfather complete his lifelong dream. The "old gold" is not treasure—it is the forgotten history buried beneath the earth.

That main theme is catchy lol. Cute game, and the map has a nice pokemon-ish vibe
Controls are a little stiff and I think your color pallet has more than 4 colors, but since it's your first jam and doing art, you did a good job overall :D!
The main theme is a straight up bop. Really cute game. Hope you continue to add art for the bones and artifacts.
overall strong pokemon game vibe form map with minigames, but i didnt quite were able to understand what you actually collecting because it says things like pottery / success / boot without actually showing things you collected
The drafts i made for the bones, pottery, stick etc were so bad i thought why won't i just use text instead. But thanks for your feedback one day i hope i will be a fine artist like you
