Beautiful art and good music! I wish that the game walked you through the first level so that I could figure it out a little easier but I like the concept of the game. I did run into a bug where I accidentally put some flour I didn't need on a counter and then I guess start chopping it and my body was stuck in the animation and I was just walking around chopping.

A lovely game, it captured my attention while scrolling what to play. Sometimes I did things in the wrong order and then it wasn't so obvious how to turn it back, but I did it in the end and had to start the recipe again. Tried to play it in spanish but the menu was still in english and I tried like 5 times, then I decided to play anyways and it was indeed in spanish inside the game xD. I played the fixed version btw.
Loved the art! The granny is sooooo cute and the whole game has a cute cozy vibe. But I really had a tough time understanding what to do to make the food. Tried to follow the recipes listed on the itch page (I played the newest uploaded version), but was only able to figure out the first recipe. The drink for the second one illudes me still haha. Overall lovely job for such a short amount of time!
Hii! I'm glad you liked that side of the game, and so sorry that the lack of info worsened your experience🥹
I did what I should have the first time, updated both pages to clarify this, as it seems to be a recurrent problem. I hope it helps any future players of the jam version.
I'd really appreciate it if you try it again, knowing the drink is (cut) orange juice, and give us the complete feedback :)
Thank you for trying our game and commenting!
The art is very cute, the music adds some chill vibes.
It could really use a tutorial, figuring the kitchen out was very confusing at first, fridge is obvious but it took me forever to find the pantry and the granny moving so slowly didn't help, lol. I still couldn't figure out the second recipe, I made the bread but have no idea what the drink is, feels like I've tried everything but maybe there is something else in the kitchen I've missed.
Oh sorry, I just noticed by reading this that it was supposed to be in the dialogue, but since it wasn't implemented, it's impossible to know what the drink is made of😭
It was supposed to be an orange juice🥹 You need to cut the orange (from the fridge) and put it in the blender for it to work. Sorry 🙏🏻
I'd love to have a tutorial or something that makes everything clearer. After getting inspo from some other games, maybe a manual like in physical games could be worth considering too. We'll have to give it some thought, definitely.
Thank you!
What was playable was nice, sadly the game itself is not fully done in the jam state, which is a shame as surely there is a place for cooking games that are not all about the chaos (overcooked for ex…)
Grapically the game is lovely, I like the sprites, the big screen art has a cozy hand drawn style to itch, which is a plus!
Musix and sfx were okay, some scenes you stop them for some reason, which I don’t think is necessary.
As said before, a bit more time and it will be a lovely game! Well done!
Hi, thank you for coming to play our game too!
We aimed a bit too high for our available time, so the last days of the jam were a full-on crunch, especially Godot-wise. The music stops because in a rush to have at least something, I just threw it into the scene from which the levels inherit 😅🤣 The dialogues being different scenes just don't have any music in them 😶🌫️
Anyway, I'm glad you liked what you were able to play. Receiving nice comments and feedback is a big motivation to keep improving it :) Let's hope to end up having a nice, not-too-chaotic, 1-player cooking game :)
¡Ai pero que mona la abeulilla, por dios!
This is a lovely little game that only really needed a little more time in the oven (pardon the pun!). Besides the obvious stuff that you already commented was incomplete, my only real complaint is that it was hard to figure out where everything was, and what was interactable & what wasn't (and even then, the how to play was missing and probably would've solved that, at least partially). Everything else - graphics, gameplay, aesthetics - is all beautifully quaint and well polished, good job!
Honestly, it is super cute but I can't figure out the recipe ; - ; am I missing something? Let me know! I'd love to play this again because I loooove cooking games
se ve bonito, no lo pude jugar mucho porque mi pc es mala y se ve muy lento, pero por lo que vi se ve bonito
