I had a really good time with this one. I especially liked the random choices before entering the dungeon, they add a nice bit of variety and make each run feel a little different.
I also really liked the art. Out of all the games I've played in the jam so far, this is probably the one that gave me the strongest actual Game Boy feeling, both visually and in the overall presentation.
I found the game a bit difficult at times, but not in a frustrating way. Overall, it was a really nice experience and definitely one of the entries that stood out to me so far.
I had some fun playing this game. It has the feeling of a gameboy game. diffrent option you choose can help you push forward or can heal you up entirely which is nice because I fell into many traps.
I did encounter a small bug. when I skip a temple it got stuck in the dialog and I couldn't go on.
Pretty fun and had some pretty hard gameplay! Definitely landed the GB soul in there, liked the intro too. Great submission.
Nice opening, starting on a black screen because hes blindfolded is a great way to use the limitation. and the rest study artifacts pick berries choice before the dungeon gives the run some shape before you even get there. nice job
I think the dialogue was quite funny and the game gives of a really nice nostalgic vibe, only issue is what you already said yourself about the difficulty being a bit skewed: in the haunted ship, the arrow and the sword at the boss was especially difficult, and the arrows overall feel a little bit quick. But, I genuinely like the game and I think it fits the theme well, super well done on your first jam!
