How does your game meet GBJam's theme
The game revolves around the Old Gold, a cursed treasure hidden deep inside an ancient crypt. The player explores the dungeon, fights enemies, collects gold and relics, and eventually faces the Hollow Warden who protects it. The theme is also tied directly to the story, since obtaining the Old Gold is the knight’s main goal and the source of the final twist.

I liked the unique turn-based gameplay with enemies spawning. At the beginning I felt like I was incentivized to farm rather than explore, but then it was super satisfying to unlock all the upgrades and become powerful. The art was awesome, and the music was great too (especially the end of game track). Nice job!
Pretty cool game. Love the style of it. Felt like a FromSoft demake. Did you consider a dodgeroll or something to allow the player to try and get out of the forced skeleton combat? Oddly, the boss battle felt liberating because I could move at will. It was a trip getting the upgrades and gaining in power exponentially after being so puny at the start. Nice work!
I love the art style and sound, it really feels like an old Gameboy game. I know you can buy abilities but it would be nice to start with a basic one as the combat lacks variety at first.
The art style and mood in this is fantastic! I like the core gameplay of movement and combat. Getting locked in by multiple spawning enemies was occasionally a bit rough.
Nice concept. The fact that you *have* to fight all the skeletons that gang up on you, and that it is up to RNG whether they will hit you, makes deaths feel a bit unfair. Like you're not in control. It has potential tho. The artstyle and music are great! Keep it up :)
Bravo! This was right up my alley, it was a pleasure to play through. While the FromSoft influence is evident I love how you translated the formula into a handheld-friendly interface. The choice of turn-based movement is brilliant honestly and the game loop was very satisfying, I had fun even farming the skeletons to be able to afford all the upgrades. I'm probably biased because I love this kind of stuff but I had an absolute blast. Very tight, well packaged idea. Kudos to both of you.
