Incredibly impressive game. Really solid base mechanics, wonderful music and great vibe. My one gripe is I think the pixel style was a bit lacking in visual clarity? Sometimes it made it a little hard to parse exactly what was where which is important when there are these quite tight segments where being a pixel off can cause you to die. I could absolutely see this being refined and expanded into a full game release if you wanted.
Thanks for playing the game and the feedback! Yeah - some of the spritework was a little chaotic and put beside other clashing colour pieces, it got a little messy :|
I would hate for my clan to be glitterless :(
The vibes here are immaculate. Love the art and the music. Love that it's a little slow paced and peaceful (except for all my corpses floating around). The current was sometimes hard to see against certain backgrounds, and I wish there were more ways to use the hook. This is a big and very complete game. Great job!
Thanks for the comments! Glad you got some peaceful underwater time :)
Thought that if I didn't get the coins in the endings screen I would miss something haha.
Really solid title, a bit too long but I persevered ;)
Thanks, for checking it out, Ru! Haha, nothing missed, I just wanted to keep the player busy during the credits XD
I love the everything about this game from the art down to the gameplay. The font on the doors for the gold coins to advance to the next area was the only thing that bothered me. The game was very direct and felt natural when playing and progression wasn't ever hindered by bugs or poor gameplay mechanics. Very solid game!! I gave it all 5 stars with a 4 star on the graphics for the font; but that is only a small gripe and really deserves to be a five as well!
Thanks for playing and the feedback! Glad you enjoyed it :D
I can't blame the font, I gotta blame my implementation XD - its legibility is totally on me pushing its contrast and ideal size.
The current and the hook are very clever gameplay mechanics, although I was stuck for a while not realising you could also hook onto the spiky plants. The vibes are immaculate and the font unreadable :P Lovely game! Keep it up.
Haha, I really didn't do the font service!
Thanks so much for the comments and playing. (Also this may be a double post because I keep forgetting to 'submit')
Love the art and colors!! good game!
Great looking game. Soundtrack was very calming. But somehow the music cut midway through. Some puzzles were a bit long but nothing too challenging. Overall a very good entry.
Thanks for playing and the comments! I'll need to check that music cut-out issue. I fiddled with the music manager at the last minute and I hope it's not interrupting player's ability to listen to Nate's wicked tunes!

Love the art in the intro to the game. The fonts are a bit awkward to read, aswell as knowing how many coins are left, as I found the number on the doors a little difficult to read. I also found it a bit tricky to tell the difference between the wall and the background in some parts but I managed. Well done!
I'm glad you managed to reach get through! Yeah, the legibility got a bit messy, but hopefully it wasn't responsible for too many floating skeletons :)
This game is absolutely beautiful. I love the art work all over, you did an amazing job with only 4 colors. For sure a game to look at to learn a little bit from in terms of an art direction. I got frustrated at the 3rd level, but probably is just a skill issue as it takes more time to be patient with the streams and I am not patient lol. The only other thing is I think the font is a little hard to read at times and I wish it was more clear how many coins you needed on the doors because of it. Animations are great, movement feels like you're actually swimming and underwater, overall amazing work!
Thanks you so much for playing! :D Yeah, the third level is definitely a step up in difficulty. I can see it being frustrating.
And thank you for the comments on the art <3 I kind of felt like I found my style with Aseprite's gradients tools while working on this game.
what a fantastic game!! such a lovely atmosphere from the art and music - they work together so well. the player movement and the puzzle "platforming" mechanics are great too. huge huge huge fan of this
Thanks for playing it! (I have to chuckle at the "platforming" quotes, because my wife and I had a small debate if this was technically platforming if you never stand on platforms XD)
The vibes from the art and the music were spot on! I loved figuring out what the hook did without the game telling me. It was a very satisfying ah-ha moment for me. Great job!
Thanks for diving in! I'm super stoked to hear that learning the hook mechanics gave a satisfying feeling :D
