Awesome game! I was actually about to give up at the beginning because I totally missed what grandpa was asking me to do... but once I figured it out, I was amazed by how much stuff is in this game! The 2 mini-bosses and so much gameplay variety, from the top-down exploration to the boat and minecart minigames. I really enjoyed all of it! The music, colors, and Game Boy vibe were great.
The only minor things I noticed were that the fade-to-black transitions used a standard fade rather than the limited color palette (which took away from the GB aspect a bit), and the sword rotation looked a bit off sometimes. But overall, this is easily my favorite game I've played today. Great job!
If giving the books to the king was the end of the game than I completed it!
