I found a diamond in the haystack. I haven't rated a game all 5 stars in everything until I played this. I tried to finish your game but I think you said its not complete yet so I managed to get 2 puzzle pieces from the cave, fishing , and then the running shoes. I exhausted the world to find it but even the old guy said "it might be impossible to find all pieces at this time" What a great demo then! I like how the things you are working on are under construction or blocked off. I loved figuring out I can move the boulders, and loved figuring out how to cheat the race. Now the most important thing I loved was how much it reminded me about Pokemon. I haven't played pokemon in years especially the old pokemon. Its been a while. The "old fishing rod", the fishing mechanic, the multiple dialog with npcs when you hit them more than once on them, the variety of dialog, the twins dialog, the "cave", the boulders blocking the cave and you having to use strength to use them, the running shoes and learning you can run, the under construction areas, the water art, the art in general. There were Japanese styled art based on the scene with the sunset from the clouds and mountains.
I played it thouroughly and its polished, very polished and I wanted to play more!
small bug When you find puzzle piece when fishing it plays the music but then background music doesnt start after you get it
The music is amazing you have a variety of music in the game for when you are in the cave, getting a puzzle, different areas, the twister sound, and more so 5 stars.
I love your game, it made me miss pokemon, it made me realize why old gold or why old games are so good. Why pokemon was good. Why I liked it. (5 stars on theme) I loved figuring it out on my own. Now these days most people don't have the patience to figure out the game's mechanic and need to know the controls for everything or answer on how to do it. But I love games where you learn the controls through the world. And this was done right. Especially because I loved the world enough to keep playing and want to figure it out. You created a beautiful world and honestly this was a huge inspiration to me so thank you. I will save this game.
