I was not expecting wall-jump mechanics in a game that runs on actual hardware. It took a little to figure them out, but once I did they made sense to me.
The platforming is solid. The floatiness of it does cause some problems on the spike-floor room when the spikes go offscreen just barely, and I land on them because I'm not positioned where I thought I was. But the rest of the time the platforming felt built around the jump well.
I did find that the floating coins sometimes respawn when returning to a room, but they are not collectible after the first time through.
The art and music were solid, though the skeleton's legs not moving in the walk cycle did bother me a little, but that's mostly me being nitpicky.
In all, a fairly simple and effective platformer.
