I really like the vibe from this game. The art style and the choice of audio come together really well!

I don’t like the puzzles though. I generally like it when puzzle games explain the rules of the game, and then you get to explore those. In this game I was staring at a painting with a tomato bouncing around on it with no clue what to do. It would have helped if hovering over the tomato had a lot more visual feedback, now it’s so slow to start fading it’s difficult to notice at all. I had to resort to the solutions immediately.

Otherwise I think it’s great that you’re making something story based! I feel like I see way too few jam games that prioritize a good narrative. Great work overall!

Thanks a lot for the feedback. If I had more time, explaining the puzzles and giving the player less subtle and visual hints would be my first priority. Right now I agree that most of the clues are kind of obscure in the form of text and there is not enough time to register them or consider them as clues. Like the first scene where it says "Follow It until the garden forgets the light" meaning you should follow the tomato with your cursor.
