Although the simple gameplay isn't my cup of tea (I found it a bit repetitive), I can tell you put a lot of effort and passion into this simple, polished game. Its great visuals and sound perfectly capture the Game Boy vibes, I love the designs of the different treasures you can find and lures you can buy, serving as a key aspect for progression through selling them for money.
Maybe the shop could have had an indication that you already bought an item and have different types of fish that make it more difficult to keep on the hook, but these are my only other complaints.
Great job for thinking outside of the box, I wouldn't have expected a fishing game in this jam.
I know a fish who definitely can't be caught here, and he's a forgetful one who stars in my entry, which you can play if you like.
