How does your game fit the Magical Girl Genre?
Umbriel, and she has lunar power imbued in her weapon. It can help purify corrupted entities who, in this case, is Mother Moth.

Which theme(s) do you pick?
Moon Rails

How does your game fit those theme(s)?
Theyre fighting in space, Umbriel is a moon, Mother Moth is based off the lunar moth, and we had based its turn based gameplay off Honkai Star Rail.

If you follow any of the optional challenges, elaborate as you like.
N/A

Were the assets for your game made during the jam? Elaborate as you see fit.
Everything was either made from scratch during the jam time or were free shaders utilized from the Godot asset store. Sounds were a mixture of freesounds and pixabay.

This had a very strong impact! The introduction was super strong, voice acting was well done and the effects on it really enhanced the vibe. The arena and character designs were super cool and the music really fit well. I think with a bit more work on the fight itself it would be really good! I think adding some feedback to the other moves would help a lot, too. I tried them out a couple of times and couldn't tell what they were supposed to do, though after I would get hit it would look like I didn't lose HP, so I assume they did do something. There was also a moment during the mid-combat cutscene where I got attacked in the middle of the dialog (since I assume it recognized it as her turn while it was playing still). I didn't lose any HP from it, so it wasn't the biggest deal, but it did throw me off from the scene. Also, it looked like if you hover over the buttons during cutscenes, you can see the tooltip for the attack hotkeys.

Looking forward to seeing where you take this!

I would have liked to see some more presentation and polish. Of course, it's a prototype, but I would have liked to see at least some kind of stylized menu and end screen. The gameplay was definitely too grindy and it didn''t really seem like the Skill option did anything.

I loved the aesthetics leading up to the combat and also loved that you had voice acting! Overall, I'd really like to see this more polished and fleshed out.

This demo is visually impressive. You should really put screenshots on the game page.

Voice acting!?!? Wha-???? That's cool and unique.

The combat was kind of grindy since enemy the health bar is so big. I don't think the concept is bad, but I would really like to see it fleshed out more.
