Bravo, just bravo! This is my favorite game I've rated so far this jam, it's really impressive. This might be the most period-accurate submission I've ever seen made for GBJAM, the graphics, character designs and sound are all right on the money. Loving the Donkey Kong '94 inspiration for the gameplay, and the other influences have not been lost on me, either. Decently challenging in some spots but not frustrating, lots of level variety, and the boss was a surprise inclusion. I got so immersed I was disappointed to remember this is not a full game. But I'd play it if it was! Wonderful job, you both should be very proud.
