I really liked the game. Although, due to the limited number of buttons on the GB it was very confusing to me to play, I'd love to play with a more "Guitar hero" approach, or at least 4 keys in order. Not the fault of the game of course, just the limitations of the jam. Good thing, failing your strokes did not punish you, so I could just mash all keys around the same time in the difficult parts.
Graphics and music are 10/10, would recommend!
I'm glad you enjoyed the graphics and music so much! These are definitely my stronger areas.
As a Guitar Hero veteran I agree the buttons can be kind of jarring with arrow keys - but this seems to be the standard layout for arrow-based rhythm games like DDR (I did a bit of research!). I hope at least those gamers will find it intuitive... I did try to make it quite forgiving so I'm glad that helped - there's nothing worse than a rhythm game you can't keep up with 🎶
