Can you understand what to do in the first 10 minutes of my E-Commerce Simulator? [Android/iOS]

Hi everyone,

I’m the solo developer of E-Commerce Simulator, a mobile business simulation game where you start small, manage products and inventory, fulfill customer orders, expand your warehouse and gradually build a larger online business.

The game is already playable on Android and iOS, but it is still under active development and I’m currently trying to improve the first-time player experience and the core gameplay loop.

I’m not really looking for compliments or store reviews — critical feedback would be much more useful to me.

If you have 10–15 minutes to try it, I’d especially like to know:

  1. Was it clear what you were supposed to do when you first started?
  2. At what point, if any, did you feel confused or lost?
  3. Did buying products → stocking → receiving orders → packing/shipping feel satisfying, or repetitive?
  4. Was there anything about the controls or UI that felt awkward on mobile?
  5. What feature did you expect the game to have that wasn't there?
  6. After 10–15 minutes, would you want to continue playing? Why or why not?

The game is still evolving, so feedback about progression, balancing, tutorial/onboarding, UI, controls and missing features is all useful.

Feel free to be brutally honest. Even something like “I stopped playing after five minutes because X” is useful feedback for me.

And if you leave your own project below, I’m happy to check it out and return the feedback.

Thanks!

The first-time flow sounds like the key part to get right in a management game. Are you considering a very short guided first order so players understand buying, stocking, packing, and shipping before the full system opens up?

Yes, definitely. I think a short guided first order would make the onboarding much clearer, especially for buying, stocking, packing, and shipping. I’m already considering this for a future update. Thanks a lot for the suggestion!
