How does your game meet GBJam's theme
We are playing a pirate aboard a Ghost Ship seeking for the old gold... the HIDDEN TREASURE!
Inside the ship, there are some Treasures that we can get.
Then we can sell those Tresaures at the shop for money. But their values changes each time you go out the Ghost Ship, so sell it well!

Very cute game! Really liked the art, especially the shopkeepers.

This game looks fantastic! It brings back memories of when I used to play pokemon red on my gameboy. The dungeon style layout inside the boat really reminded me both of the pokemon tower in lavender town, as well as the original legend of zelda on NES. I enjoyed the gameplay loop and the music too. Great job on this!

Great thumbnail. Exploring the wreck was exciting but I also was in a total panic because of the time limit. Definitely evoked the classic Zelda vibe.

let's put it simply your art is in another level, and it is clear so much work was put on this project with the limited time you had. even the reading signs say "you can't read from this side" if you aren't in front of them. and the portfolio for the characters is adorable

Amazing game! I really liked the sense of progression, learning the layout of the ship and unlocking things to go farther each time. The only issue is that the shop items didn’t feel too worth it for me (besides the keys) since I was surprised that they only lasted for one run. Overall it was very well designed though, and I really liked the art as well.

I played this on stream today (recording here) in case you’re interested in watching someone play your game. Good job!!

The gameplay loop was nice! Graphics were really good, and it felt very much like a Dragon Quest or Zelda game from the Gameboy! Great work!

This was really good! The graphics are so nice and the boat dungeon looks awesome, you can tell a lot of work went into it. Everything feels really polished and it has such a nice Gameboy vibe. Great job team :)

Amazing graphics! The detail on the characters and scenes, is fantastic. The boat dungeon must of taken SOOOO O long to craft. Well done team! Great game.

I half-remember a night where I went to sleep at 6am after making an entire paper map of the dungeon hahaha

And we had to cut half of the actual dungeon because it was way too big to be polished xD because yeah it took us too many nights of art and debug for the part we actually kept!

In the end it was all worth it but we're glad we can sleep xD

Nice title screen, the dithering on that wreck is lovely. the ship interiors read really clearly at 160x144, you can take in a whole room at a glance, and the door doesnt budge line is a good small touch. nice job

Thanks! This was our 3rd jam using gbstudio so we got more time to make sure as many things were as clear as possible!
