Pretty short but sweet! I liked the desolate, almost meditative atmosphere and the subtle ambience. The level looked very nice, but I think it'd have looked even better if the character didn't take up so much of the screen.
The progress was definitely very obscure at times. I had to look at the comments to figure out how to solve the cave puzzle, and it was often hard to spot the tiny branches you had to latch on to. I ended up finding what I assume was multiple easter eggs (pie, bone, cowboy hat) before finding the actual way forward, but overall, the level felt pretty linear once I knew where to go.
It didn't help that everything felt super slow, from walking to jumping and reeling in the lasso. Also, I feel like the game was supposed to have combat, but I guess that didn't make it in in time?
I'm not sure if there was an alternate ending for finding gold, but I did eventually manage to reach the top. There were definitely some rough edges, but still, very nice job!
