I like all the dino character descriptions, they're really creative!
I played it with my friends (substituted the cards for 1d10 dice); I had a lot of fun coming up with a scenario going on in the office (we ended up being a witch working at USPS). (We made our own NPCs); We killed a co-worker the first day (Jerry), and ended up being rivals with his son (Tom) who had a cousin who slept in the hallways (Nibble). Anyways, last day we turned Tom into an egg (you know the one). Also the whole time the computer was NOT working, and it may have been thrown into the tar pit, a few times. Fished out. And then thrown back. The final day, we gave it a funeral in the hole we dug while trying to fix the sink. (also end value was -5 points)
Anyways, all of that to say. we had a pretty good time. I do feel that it went on too long, for the number of scenarios provided. I was also a bit confused on how we were supposed to blame the NPCs for the point values? I assume this had to do with hiding we were not a dinosaur, but it was not clearly explained. I understand it was 5 days and 8 hours (tasks) to simulate office life, but I feel that it detracted from the game. I think either decreasing the tasks or increasing the number of prompts would have helped significantly with the pacing. (I did skip tasks, so this comes even with doing under the number of suggested tasks). But we will had fun, and the way the game worked with combining the different randomly chosen tasks and how good we did at them was very unique to what I have played before. And it was overall a pretty good experience.
