Interesting little prototype, definitely very barebones, but I like the idea of not being able to fight back against enemies. For reference, I only played on the "hardest" difficulty, which wasn't really that hard once I got used to watching the edge of the screen for the glowy eyes.
There were a few unfair situations where I was already backpedalling from one enemy and got sandwiched by another one coming from the opposite direction, or jumped up only to immediately get hit, but fortunately those were overall pretty rare. The game straight up telling you where to go definitely made things much easier, too! Level design is obviously too big of a topic for a review, but I personally think for a short game like this, sometimes it's better to just have a more linear level with only a few branching paths, compared to what's essentially a single giant room where you keep running into roadblocks over and over.
I managed to find all three crystals and got all the way to the bottom level, but unfortunately I got stuck on a waist-high barrier and couldn't figure out how to get past. The nearby launch pad didn't launch me high enough to get over the wall, and I tried pressing every button but couldn't find any sort of dash or glide or anything else that would give me more air distance.
Still, the minimal graphics did a pretty decent job at selling the horror setting, and I think the idea of dodging enemies in the dark has a lot of potential. Nice job!
