This is really cute, I like the idea. The UI is really hard to navigate. Using a button to change which parts of the menu were interactable was tough to wrap my head around, especially when the tutorial obscured half of them. I think it would have worked better in the gameboy “point and click” style.

Great job!

I enjoyed the premise! I powered through the cleaning tutorial and the gameplay was good, the graphics were clear and great too! Good job!

same as tripod mentioned: got stuck after cleaning the first item in the tutorial.  the "move with WASD to clean the object" text never went away and it seemed to be stuck.

cool concept.  hunting for the last pixel of dirt on the object was a little tedious (what is dirt vs shadow becomes a problem), but otherwise I like the aesthetic.

It's possible you've still missed some pixels hiding in the shadow 😅 That part of the tutorial should continue after you've cleaned all but 10 pixels which emits another wave of particles (which tbf is a bit ridiculus but i was worried people would be confused why an item is considered "clean" when alot of the dirt is still there)

The game looks nice and has great graphics. but I wasn’t able to even return the first item to the customer. the menu navigation is weird and the tutorial text covers most of the screen.

The tutorial was a bit confusing, and sometimes not fully responsive. I think I restarted it twice. And after that, the game got stuck there when mounting the first watch:

I really liked the game concept and the art, though, so I'd play a more polished version if you happen to make one. Some SFX and ambient music would make it great : )

Edit: the cloth's effective cleaning area felt a bit too small, maybe making it a couple pixels bigger would improve the game feel too.

thank you for giving the game a chance :> the plan was to make purchaseable better tools for cleaning but because of procrastinating (oops) i wasn't able to make that :<

The game looks really cool and I like the idea, but unfortunately i couldn't really play much of it because the text covered the top part too much, and I didn't really get how I'm supposed to navigate the inventory :(

unfortunately the text bubble got stuck and covered the full screen :( from the pictures on the game page the game looks really good, i wish i could have played it.  the customer's design was really cute :>

nice premise, cleaning and repairing old gold to keep a shop open is about as on theme as it gets. the wood grain on the bench and the little customer sprite are great too

Nice shiny piece of gold! I hope that I could play more but the dialog that tells to use AWSD to clean the first piece got stuck in the screen.

Developer

I couldn't really fit much text at once but you need to clean the item until particles show up 😅

I did! First time I tried I miss the borders, second one I saw the particles, but I think I got stuck. After trying all the buttons I could leave to talk to another potato-customer but the dialog was still there.
